I am a watch buff like all of us and have about 50, but it's been about 3 years since I have made a new purchase and am getting a strong itch. Ever since I was a teenager I have always wanted a Tag Heuer, and I especially liked the 2000 Series. I also have a smaller wrist and these should be much better fitting then the newer dive style watches that are 40mm +. I'd love to seem some wrist shots of your favorite vintage Tags from 20-30 years ago and what you like or don't like. I see a model I like- the WK2116 and they are definitely affordable used at around $500.

This 962.213 is from 1988/89. I've had it for about 6 years and changed the battery once.My missus fancied it as a beater watch and now it gets used more. Last year it survived being submerged in mud when my missus fell in some when we were out walking. The second hand lands spot on the markers and the watch overall is very durable
We are also big fans of Tag Heuer and will post plenty of pictures of our collection later today after we run some errands
I just remembered I took this pic last night. I’m working today and have a small side job after work. I loaded all tools in the auto last night to avoid having to do it at 6am and looked down at my Tag surprised how bright it was. Not really vintage but I do like having some decent quartz I’ll also wear it today when I replace some spindles on a deck.
These are my two unusual Heuers Executive Chronographs from 1985. Both in NOS conditions. One silver dial and the other gold dial https://www.tagheuer.com/al/en/vintage-collection/vintage-tag-heuer-executive.html
Go for it. Love my old 200 meter Profesional. These 20-30 yr old Tag-Heuers feel substantial but aren’t too thick so they wear well. The quartz ones like mine are tough as hell w/ an all brushed finish that’s easy to clean up when scratched.
This is just the beginning. We have loads more that we haven't gotten the chance to snap pictures of. Tags have always been one of our favorite brands to amass
