Not more than the watch if worth, if it cost 200€ to fix it and its worth 400€ its ok then i know how much i willing to buy it for. So it this an expensive fix? Is there a bushing that a watchguy can get hold of to change or do i need a complete "weight"? Aka a spare caliber?
Ok well i just grabbed a number, its all down to what the watch bid ends up in the end i guess. But then ill probably shuld not go over 2-300€ for the watch? Otherwise i can just as well get a decent good working one instead of this one?
This Seamaster 14704 caliber 591 was my first vintage purchase in April 2016. I paid $325 for it...and after a $450 trip to my watchmaker, it's been running strong, keeping great time and despite the petite case diameter, it has plenty of wrist presence.
I definitely paid a bit of the noob tax on this watch, but it holds a special place in my modest collection, and it seems that the market has just about caught up to my investment in it...!
