Unfortunately Finland is far from italy when it comes to watch culture. Interesting vintage watches turn up for sale quite rarely. I have still bit of an habit to go trough local auctions and you can imagine I got bit exited when I spotted this lot among the scandinavian design stools.



I took a bit of an risk with bidding (and winning) without seeing it first in real life but to my eyes it just looked too promising to miss. Going to pick it up next week!

This could be awesome. Most of that crud and grime will clean off to leave a great case and bezel. The dial appears to have lively lume and even a hint of brown.

Possibly a -66 HF?

I'm not an speedmaster expert. The auction text literally said "received as a gift -70, dirty and scratched." My uneducated guess was transitional 145.022 .

 

Could be, but the shorter pushers look like those from the 105. Either way, I'll wager you've got a cracking watch there.

Congrats on a nice find! The short pushers indicating a 105.012, some pictures of the back would narrow it down further to which variant it is.

 

Short pushers?, i don't think so, this is 145.022 -68 ( transitional ), or 145.012.
