Hi there,

got offered the following:

14060-11_zps5wj0hdl1.jpg

14060-111_zps4konespb.jpg

14060-1_zps3vdjp1j4.jpg

Based on that 3 pics - what's your say?

To my eyes it looks OK / genuine ... any red flags?

as always, a heartfelt THX for your time and help

cheers, Al

Looks legit to me too, though I am no expert, it also doesn't look like it has been "prepped" for sale, which is always a bonus.

What year is it? I'd be worried about service replacement dial, hands, and bezel.

Good eye. If this is the 14060 and not the 'm' variant then it was produced somewhere between 1990 and ~1997 when they switched to the 14060m. If it's an 14060m then it is pre 2008 when they switched to the 4 liner. Bottom line: The hands and bezel look damn good for being ~20-25yr old watch on a 14060. I would be okay with a service swap because I like things looking new but ymmv. Something to ask the seller at least.

Other than those thoughts, the watch looks good to me. The hands, dial, bezel, bracelet all look legit.

I am no expert but I compared it to my 14060 from '97 with Swiss T<25 dial and it all looks identical. I am sure mine has replacement hands and bezel as they are in vgc and the watch was serviced according to the seller.

Looks good!!! Here's mine; most replacement dials and hand would be luminova or superluminova and would glow after exposure to light.

Looks fine to me.

With the serial/year and asking price you will get better advice.

For example, at $10k, it would suck. 😒

Looks very nice! How much do they want?
In the market for one myself (lollipop hand be damned!), so the feedback in this thread is definitely of interest. 😀

The following images were taken from Mondani's Rolex Submariner book. I'd rather make no judgement here, but I hope a couple of images will help.

Looks great to me. I am hoping the streaking on the bracelet and case is cleaning product (looks that way) rather than botched brushing.

You also have the benefit of it being a tritium model which are slowly acquiring more value as more and more people are hoping to get pieces that will acquire patina and lume discoloration.

If price is good for you the watch itself looks 100%

I should add that I can't really see the detail on the crown on these pics, just make sure it has the 3 dots in it (triple lock) I think they are there but can't tell for sure.

If not a brand new watch, you need more pics, including of the insides. And since you're offered the watch, seller would likely be ok to provide more details on the watch, as noted above. Seems nice & Good luck.

Now that's a detail I didn't know of. But again, I am no expert.
I just checked the crown on mine for the 3 dots and they are there.
Also the hands on mine glow in the dark but the dial doesn't. Replacement service hands I believe.
My Submariner is identical to this one and I am glad to own one.
Learn something new here every day.
Thanks.
