Hey guys,

Have a chance to buy this Vintage Longines Automatic. There are no movement pictures, and apparently the watch isn't working, so I'd be buying to repair (which I'm ok with, presuming you could get replacement parts for this model?).

The case looks sharp, dial looks good, and I'm fine with the enamel wear on the back. The hands show some lume wear, whereas the dial markers seem to have faded, making me wonder whether the hands were replaced (albeit with the appropriate hands). Thoughts? I appreciate your honest opinions!

Thanks again OF,
-J.

I think it's safe to say you should try to get a movement picture before you make your decision, unless it's very very cheap.
