Hi everyone,
I see several of you are into Longines catalogues from the 60s.... anybody has catalogues or ads or images on the 1961 "asymmetrical" model ? I just purchased it, it uses a 370 caliber and was wondering if there are catalogs of the time where it appeared.
thanks in advance.

Coincidentally, I bought this one with a similar case recently...

Nice one!

I have one similar. Wat is your theory about the “sloppy” placement of the indices?

I do seem to notice that on more vintage 40s and 50s Longines. In your case for instance:

-the VI is placed partially inside the subdial and also not completely straight;
-the middle and bottom marker of the III are lined up differently opposed to the top marker;
-some of the applied dots every 5 minutes dont line up 100% the same opposed to the outer minute track;

Small imperfections that I see more often, also on my example btw.

Just curious. Is it done by hand and for that reason showing some imperfections?
