·Longines Ultra-Chron 18kt
This is the late 1960´s cushion cased version of the Ultra Chron. Housed in a heavy 18kt gold case with a sunburst finish and a very nice raised logo on the back.
This being a front loading case I have never opened it, but have been reliably informed it will be running a cal. 431 or possibly a 6651.
The satin finish dial and baton hands are in nice shape .
Time keeping is good and the date changes a couple of minutes before 12.
The crown is signed Longines and a little stiff to manual wind, however when setting the time it is very smooth.
There is a very small chip out of the crystal at 11.
