Longines strap sources

Hi Guys

I just bought my dad a Longines 847 4427 watch. He was gifted one by my grandad when he was 18 or 21 and it got lost a couple of years ago. I’m guessing a springbar failed. I found a replacement and its in great shape. However the strap isn’t long enough.

It is 16mm between the lugs so I don’t really want a strap that tapers to 14mm like most do. I have a longines 16mm buckle too as the one that came was unsigned.

Has anyone got any recommendations for where to source one? I have looked at cousinsuk and they only seem to have straps around the £5 mark that fit the bill. I don’t want to spend hundreds but think there must be something better than that.

Its a dress watch from the 70’s so I don’t want anything too fancy.

Please help.

Craig

Nice watch! I buy a lot of my straps from Ebay. Etsy is a good place to look for custom-made.
