Where did you hear about this reference? Do you have any photos or information that you are withholding? What would you specifically like to know?

As you may know, Longines offered countless references during the 1930s and 1940s and reference numbers were not regularly stamped on cases until the late 1940s. Someone may have information on the reference you are interested in but not know it.

Just asked Longines for an extract for the disco volante I showed in another thread .They told me that the movement number was in a watch ref. 4157 from 1940. So I started this thread to source more information about this ref. It's a Cal 10.86z. I couldn't anything online until now.

I will bring all Information together when the disco volante is back from service in an introduction thread in June (I hope).

Did you ask Longines if they had a picture of the ref in their archive?

Good idea, but I didn't occupy them as much, so I tried here first as there is so much knowledge and passion around. But I will go back and ask Longines if nobody has further Information here at OF.
