Dear All, Up for sale today is a lovely Longines, one that I was hoping to keep for a while. I’m raising some funds (non-watch related project) which is leading to the sale of some pieces from my collection. On the wrist, this piece wears beautifully. It is a nice size at 35mm, stainless steel, and the overall condition of the case is good. The dial is the real star here though with a two-tone finish and what I'd describe as harmonious patina. The sub-seconds dial and the heat blued hands complete the look and in my opinion create an overall aesthetic that must be seen in person to truly appreciate. Additionally, extract from the archives show that this watch was originally invoiced to Iran which makes this an uncommon example. Highlights: - All original with the possible exception of the crystal - Two-tone dial - 35mm, stainless steel case - Extract from the archives - Invoiced to Iran Lowlights: - While the movement looks in very good and clean condition, the watch runs fast. The previous seller mentioned a service but unsure what to make of that. My watchmaker has been on a bit of a hiatus and so did not have a chance to service this piece, thus a service is recommended.
