This Longines Record Diver with orange dial is being offered to me but I am not so familiar with the watch and its current market value. Likewise, the bakelite on the bezel is partly detached already so I am not sure if I can still find a NOS or good used bezel? Your thoughts would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

I remember reading that Record was a low budget brand that Longines bought around 1970. If I'm correct the value isn't that high. Bezels are in general hard to find, but maybe Longines used the same bezel on their divers from that time period.

1961, and Record did make their own calibers like a lot of small to medium brands back then.

You are correct. Collectors want the true in-house Longines watches. Record is in the same price bracket as the average Bulova.
