·Here we have a very nice example of an in between technologies invention by Longines.
Brand was decaying by this time (1970s) and no longer produced in house chronograph calibers as per those who left a mark and are now highly celebrated (13zn, 30ch).
This is a Valjoux 72 caliber, with the curious feature that the center sweep seconds hand has a 10th of a second fractioned from 0 to 9, which gives this tool watch the name of "nonius" from latin for 9ths.
Dial is original and perfect. Case has lost its factory finish brush but it s in healthy condition. Some pitting can be seen on the space in wich caseback lays over.
Movement is in great shape, recently serviced.
Bracelet is original and pretty cool, in very good condition, no stretch.
