Bought my beautiful wife a Longines Master collection watch, it lost time so under warranty was sent back to Longines for repair. They has the watch 5 months, replaced a few parts plus sent back to us.

Move forward 4 months, the watch is not keeping time, on the wrist even winding it up with thee second hand running it is slow on a daily basis. 5 or 6 min slow, or even stopping. Local watch shop are unwilling to take more action based on the fact it is new..

My objective was to run it through a timegrapher to measure it's functional reading. Off the wrist again it will either be slow or stopped. Under that reasonable time frame, my next step is again give it back to the manufacturer for investigation. We may well find it has been with the manufacturer more than the wearer, which is frustrating.

Anyone else had a similar even plus give suggest to my next action,

Many thanks.

If you are winding it fully by hand and it's still running 5 min slow per day, you've got a serious problem. send it back under warranty again, its your only option.

Thanks Dan yes not impressed they had it a while the first time. The watch was running although still slow out of acceptable range.

you could say its defective and ask them to take it back with credit for a different watch. they will probably want to fix it though.

This is only a rudimentary guide to the function from a timing app far different from my own which is working well with that L888 movement.
