·Today for sale is Longines from 1937 in very nice condition. These watches were made in 3 series exclusively for the Czech military before, during and after world war II. The very huge case (41mm without crown) is a real eye-catcher.
CASE: untouched, made of heavy stainless steel, good condition, only minor scratches and dings. Fixed lugs. (24!!mm) The turning bezel ring with the arrow is still working.
CROWN: original, winding very smoothly.
DIAL: original, not repainted, with patina,, see photos.
HANDS: original with partial fading (maybe have been relumed in the past)
GLASS : acrylic,very good, originality unknown.
MOVEMENT: very good original condition, caliber Longines 15.94. lately serviced by trusted watchmaker. Pictures done before.
STRAP: mint slightly used, very soft black leather Eulid
BOX: original (very rare !)
EXTRACT: Extract from Archives - delivered on 1937
This watch is ready to wear and a masterpiece for any ambitious collection. You will hardly find a better original(!) example for that price!
