Redial + crown is a service replacement, not original as claimed. ::facepalm1::

I wish I could get half the prices that Hodinkee (and a few other sites) ask. The real questions, I suppose, are whether these asking prices are realised and whether the buyer's are sucked in by the spiel.

You send picks of a watch to them, they tell you how much they think it will sell for, and voilà. If it sells, they get a 15% commission.
If unsold, it is returned to the buyer.

That’s a terrible redial, couldn’t get at least the lume right... And the hourglass wings are most definitely crooked on top of that.

By the way bracelet is original Longines, but has lost it's applied logo on the clasp. Something easily to find out like the fact it is re-dialled. Seems that Hodinkee is not doing their homework.

My magic eight ball says yes after they saw this thread. It’s an oddly specific 8 ball.

Amen to that. I get a kick out of some of the prices asked on forums, and terms like "ultra-rare, art deco, calatrava, jumbo, tropical dial". And maybe if I took pictures next to fancy cigars, antique cameras, and vintage whiskey bottles...

    Calatrava is especially irksome.
