First, as a newbie, I really appreciate the information and knowledge of this esteemed forum. Hopefully, as I become more knowledgeable, I can contribute to this great resource.

I'm considering buying this Longines Flagship (circa 1967). I welcome your thoughts.
- First, the dial appears "too perfect."
- I've not seen one with a cross-hair dial
- The seller does not know the movement. Would you know the movement type?
- It does not have the Flagship engraving on the back of the watch. As I understand the Flagship engraving were on watches produced in Europe.

Thanks for your comments and feedback which will help me in deciding if I should buy this watch.

Hi John. Welcome to Omega Forums.

While Flagship did come with crosshair dials, that one is refinished. Most likely it's a caliber 30L inside - a nice movement. It might also be a case made in South America, which hurts the value compared to a case from Longines' plant in Saint-Imier. I'd have to see the inside of the caseback to be sure.

Verdict: pass. There's too much left to chance and odds say it would not be in your favor to buy it.

Dennis, thanks for the prompt reply and feedback. Sounds good. I'm inclined to pass and your verdict decides it for me. I'll just have to be patient and keep looking. Really appreciate!
