As the watch funds are not replenished yet to a suitable level, I am offering this nice Longines from 1962 with Fab. Suisse dial. Case: Overall, the stainless case is in great condition and appears unpolished. The inside of lugs and chamfers are sharp with retained bezel contours. There are tiny superficial scratches, commensurate with age. Case measures 35 mm without crown and 43 mm lug to lug. Lug width of 18mm. Crown: Signed original crown. Caseback: Snap down caseback with some linear scuffing, likely from previous nato/perlon band. Inside is marked 8888-1. Movement: Cal 30L manual wind movement, which appears clean. This watch was not serviced in my possession but has been running without appreciable gain or loss of time. Manual winding, and time settling are crisp. If you intend on wearing it daily, a service is always recommended. Serial number dates this to 1962, confirmed by the email extract shown below. Dial: Attractive and simple dial with applied logo and etched hour markers. The dial has developed a cream patina, which can be seen in the photos. "Fab. Suisse" on the dial signifies delivery to France which is confirmed in the extract. Hands: Original hands. Crystal: Unsigned crystal. Strap: Will come on an inexpensive soft black leather strap. For this watch, I am asking $550 which will include shipping in the USA. Happy to accept bank wire, Venmo, Paypal Friends and Family. International deals can be discussed and will ship at cost to buyer. TransferWise works nicely for international deals. Returns if watch is grossly misrepresented. I have had numerous transactions on this forum with reviews posted in the Seller Profile section.
You might as well grab it It's like one of those TV commercials, "The cost of your daily cup of coffee for 100 days."
Glad to see someone's grabbing this. Out of my normal collection, but it's so damn minimal and clean and pretty!
