    Hello All-

I am almost done restoring a 1950's Conquest power reserve / wind indicator that looks like this one

    upload_2021-3-4_15-34-54.png

But I cannot figure out what holds the center disc (indicator) in place? Could anyone help me out?

It seems the disc is held in place by the hour hand mounting to the hour wheel but there is vertical play of the hour wheel (which turns freely on the cannon pinion) so upside down watch = problem.

Any chance someone could provide a picture of the back of the indicator disc so I could get a look at what's supposed to be there. Or any form of education/help would be much appreciated-

I'm not familiar with the power reserve, but if IIRC the mystery dial Longines watches require a dial washer between the disk and the dial.

Thanks for your help- tried it and found it made the separation worse on this watch, I've got to be missing something

    Not Really-
Christian (Watchguy UK) seemed to recall the minute hand actually held everything in place, tired it but it still allows about 2-3mm of
vertical movement, so if you turn the watch upside down....

christian has worked on these before, he should be able to help with better details....part of the issue with these LCPR is parts availability....near impossible, though possible....Your question is about a simple function...can @photo500 give a view on the question :::>>>

what holds the center disc (indicator) in place?
