    Hey guys!
I recently read a review on this sweet look Longines and started looking around for one to get myself. I checked out the sales forum and didn't find one and so I checked ebay and the one below popped up. I was hooked but then started to do a bit of research and some things didn't seem right. First, the hands are not the same as other examples on the net. Second, and most glaring, the enamel on the case back looks suspiciously like it was redone by a five year old. Lastly and least concerning, the crown doesn't seem right.

Are these observations wrong or were there a few variants? With the enamel, could this just be "wear"? I think I am going to pass this one on, but I thought I would ask you guys before giving up hope on it.

Looks like the caseback was colored in with finger paints.

    It's a shame. Otherwise it's a nice watch.

I wish these sellers would leave the watches alone. I really love the outer ring on the dial and the date at 12

Yes and over polished. The only thing worth salvaging is the dial and movement. Next...

Hey Everyone! What do you think of this one? To me everything looks good. The seller told me that he got it from the original owner who had it in a safe for the past couple decades. So here is the front which looks like it just needs a cleaning, but the back looks like the previous owner took the wrong wrench to it. So my question is if I were to get this, I would like to clean up some of the scratches without ruining the original edges; Is this possible to do? From the pictures and from what the seller said it should only need a case cleaning and a very light polish to get the case looking pristine. Is it worth trying to clean it up a bit and will that take away from value at all. I want to keep it original but I also want it nice.
