    I like that!
Why begin learning, when you can begin winning?

Hi Seiji, nice to see you here - welcome!
    "New to Longines collecting"?
Please ! You've got to be joking.
(glad you've found a place where you can post it all :))

Has it been just 12 months? Feels like a long time.... Well for sure I'm biased so I wasn't bored --but I'm hardly the only Longines fan on MWR .... and you'll find a number of longstanding MWR members are also on OF.

And now we're going to need detailed shots of those marvels you've assembled. :p

Well, many people would probably appreciate anyone of those "not so nice ones". Surprise surprise, I like the one with the pink dial (you'll note the rose glasses on my avatar...).

Welcome! Quite glad to have you...

I think most will agree, these really are quite 'Nice'!

    ...except for this one:

So, you may as well send this one to me right now... :whistling:.... :D

Wow! The chronograph on mesh is especially attractive. I'm not much of a vintage guy but I'd put that watch on in a heartbeat. Welcome to the Forum @Seiji !

Mr. @Jones in LA, it's the second time in a week you've uttered that phrase "I'm not a vintage guy BUT...." Could it be you're (finally) getting tired of those modern Omega watches that are blinding my eyes on the WRUW thread? (I'm trying my best here not to offend :)).

    It's a beauty, anyway...

@Seiji , I think you are good luck, because, after 3 weeks of waiting, as I opened your thread, this finally just arrived on my porch from Germany, and I am ecstatic:

I will post on the Conquest PR thread now, too... ... so as not to disrupt all of the fine comments you are getting right here...

Of course the vintage watches that get me really excited are also especially clean and shiny [and likely budget-busters] :)

Always glad to have another vintage Longines lover hanging around in OF and what an amazing haul in just 12 months! :)

I'm happy to help you clear away the panda tri-compax! :D

I also think I really like that moonphase calendar watch that's lying around in the first photo... Care to show a close up?
Might have to call dibs on it! :)

Nothing personal but I can't bear to see those case backs.
They horrify me. (And since this is not a military watch forum, I'm even tempted to ask if you could kindly edit out the case back -- at least for my sake?)
