    Hi there,
This Longines sells at the moment at chrono24 for almost 7000Euro.
I would kindly ask the community for their opinion...
    Redial or not?

    Cheers,

I'm inclined to say original dial, but in my uneducated opinion 7k euro seems like a lot for a 12.68z

... from what I learned in the last post the dial feet is a good indication. On second picture I have difficulties to recognize the feet.... Can you tell me? I also think that 7000 Euro is too much...

The real value? A thousand Euros or so.

It's not a Calatrava to begin with. That's a Patek Philippe model.

Seen two of these recently with identical spotless dial. One at Menta. That has me concerned.

I think he's referring to the Menta, same strap, same photos, same price

I think we're just running out of quality Longines for sale and anything big is starting to get inflated asking prices. Too easy to get swept up with the updraft from all the hyped watches.

In my view, there is virtually no possibility of an original (non-enamel) white dial surviving 60-70 years in such a pristine state, and maintaining that degree of brightness. The incongruous (dirty) winding wheel on the OP's example further suggests a redial.

The crown is also in clean. And, on the American website, it is $7000 USD. Better you buy from website directly. IMG_5606.jpg

I'll not pay that sum for a Longines.
