I saw a '60 flagship for sale with this movement inside, but I'm suspect, since I don't see it mentioned by Dennis in his wonderful help thread. ...and here's the listing: http://www.chrono24.com/en/longines...models=537&manufacturerIds=149&usedOrNew=used
It's a Cyma caliber 480 that's rebadged by Longines. Very efficient winding system, but since it isn't in-house the demand isn't as great.
I think it's like Coca-Cola, the Real Thing. Here another one: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/LONGINES...TIC-18kt-GOLD-amp-STEEL-CAL-380-/300980259291Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network Take care, gatorcpa
Well, I wouldn't say it's that much of a disparity in quality because Cyma made some great movements back then. I owned a near-mint version of that same watch, which eventually went to Angel / alam here. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it back if he were to sell it either.
In that case, I also saw this one: https://www.chrono24.com/en/longine...gship-watches--mod537-used.htm&usedOrNew=used Looks pretty minty, to me!
and it's another one (dammit!) without a movement picture.. (I asked for one, just in case they got the movement wrong !)
