I'm new to nice vintage watches with only my Omega Constellation I recently acquired. I stopped at a pawn shop today and saw a Longines automatic with spider web dial. It's not running and sorry but this is the only picture I took. Would it be worth the investment at $140? Thanks
10 KGF with a lot of wear. Cracked crystal. After doing more research I'm thinking it probably wouldn't be worth the money and effort. I really liked the dial though.
Love the full set of numerals on that one. Wish for your sake that the dial's surface condition was better. You'd have to really love the project of rehab'ing the watch for it probably isn't worth it. I'm glad to see the watch and grateful to you for posting the photograph. It's very similar to this 1954 Longines with 19AS movement in a solid 14kt gold case. I've not seen another so similar.
That one is beautiful. I don't think I'll get it. I finally found another that sold on eBay that's working, is very nice and in box. It sold for less than $200 with shipping. Which I find surprising. With the nice unique dial I figured it would be worth more. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/123021681305
