Evening all, can anybody work out the rough age/cal of this Longines auto ultra chron? I don’t have the specific tool needed to get the back off. TIA.

I would like to get access to the movement so that I know exactly what I've got. I think this may be a front loader, but not sure. Is anybody able to tell from the photos provided?

Front loader. The are no indentations (wrong term, I know) for use of a case back opener.

you get into this watch by removing the crown first . There is a special way to remove the crown then lift the watch movement from the case

Once you do, you can email Longines’s heritage department and they’ll send you a summary of when the watch was produced and where it was delivered to, free of charge. 👍
