.... in the UK and Eire for their oldest watches and best stories. i have entered my Automatic Conquest (will not be the oldest by quite some distance) as it comes with an interesting background and has great sentimental value to me. apologies if you are already aware of this or have seen it before.

well, mainly that it has travelled many a mile during military service with my grandpa and then was inherited by my father and eventually by myself about 20 yrs ago (probably only interesting to me!). i remember that my father frequently had a green stain from the brass fish on his wrist whenever he did remove the watch. i don't have a massive watch collection but this is with out doubt my favourite piece.
