    Hello,

I'm interested in a 7111-2, but it looks so clean that I am not sure if it was just nicely serviced or if it is a redial.

    What is your opinion?

    Thanks,

    Roger

Looks kosher to me. The serial number puts it at 1959 / 1960.

Thank you all! I have not yet bought that watch as the price seems to be rather high. I found at least 3 other 7111 in recently ended eBay auctions and all went for considerably less (around $200-300, while this one is offered at $900). The ones at eBay would have required cleaning and servicing, but at least one had an even better dial. However, I am definitely interested in buying a nice example of this watch once it shows up. I really like the dial. A perfect dress watch.

I think it is legit. 900 USD might be a bit high, but considering a good service could be around 200 USD and a professional dial cleaning is around 200-250 USD, that price is not so overestimated.

Good luck. Hope to see your pics when buying.
