    Saw this one last night as well. I was tempted at first but I was also turned off by the hands. It's a shame, though probably for the best as it has basically the same case/overall look as my 62MAS (which is currently at my watchmaker, hemorrhaging money ::facepalm2::).

    Just read the original ebay ad and noted the 505 movement. This a a Record movement used by Longines after Longines acquired them. Not a bad movement, but nothing compared to the Chronometer 431 in the other example we've been discussing. Noted current bid the ebay modelfor over 800 USD currently, which makes the one for sale on the forum look that much better. Ohhhhh the temptation.... MUST STOP LOOKING

    ^yup. Just got a square Ultra Chron with the 431, came serviced. Such fun to just hear / see it tick. Has gained maybe 2 seconds in 3 days...
