Case bump: made circa 1960 this Longines Reference 5967 is encased in approx 38mm of 18k rose gold. The look of it - you could think its as tough as nails. Well, in one respect you’d be correct - condition has held up amazingly great for a 59 years old. Watch . Per extract, “other parts of the watch” or case made locally under license:— Open to interpretation though an esteemed OFer has the view Longines made an error ( gasp! ) because it’s almost certainly (emphasis mine) a Swiss-made case. The extract is notable ensuring fine Longines manufacture and heritage. Otherwise, not fussed on this point. Next steward/owner can take this up with Longines if so inclined.
