I was chasing one of these beauties, a nice vintage Longines chronograph with calibre 30ch, for my collection. As luck would have it (actually, insanity according to my bride) both deals came along almost simultaneously. I'm suuuure THAT situation doesn't occur often. I jumped up and grabbed both! Is it big v bigger? Is it case type v case type? or dial v dial? Hmmm .... Anyway .... Longines 1. This case reference is Longines 2. While this case reference is Both watches seem in fabulous condition to my eye but after a little while I figured I'd let one go to maintain the peaceful vibes at home and the 'one for me, one for you' thingy. I guess that should be reversed but I digress ... Okay, ... Similarities include dial...Love the lettering/printing, colours, condition; movement and contours of the case and they're both 18k rose gold versus Differences include case size & case reference, etc... Gotta tell ya, I wanted to keep both especially as theyre pretty great looking. But sharing the love with another collector seems the reasonable next step, as I've already been looking at the next Longines on the shopping list...or Omega hahaha I've decided to move the Longines with signed crown (yup, original, me thinks). Don't think buyer is a forum member BUT IF the transaction fails to complete cuz of buyer not actually sending funds the next few days, I may get a reprieve and be able to consider the error of my ways (as in, why the he** I sold it) We all have different perspectives & thoughts .... What's yours? Thanks & Cheers!!
Keep both. Go shoe shopping. Do not complain about anything while shopping for said shoes. Buy lunch. Go shopping for more shoes. *NOTE: shoes can be substituted for handbags but do try to keep clear of jewelry. Jewelry shopping tends to be reserved for serious fuck ups.
The smaller has sunburst dial while the bigger does not, it seems. I'd rather sell something else... And where are the movement pictures?
5967 FTW! Out of curiosity on the 7414, are all the hands original? I'm not too familiar with Longines chronographs and I'm still trying to educate myself on them! Congrats on those watches btw!
Based on my SS version ...These hands are good. Somewhere in Longines Forum there is a hands chart that I recall seeing.
Hey, Spence, got an update on these? I think they are both too beautiful to sell, so the keepers are the Bride, the 5967, and the 7414, in that order. But just as LouS says, 'omne desiderium vestrum' !
Hi there, I'm new to this forum, and I'm looking for a Longines 30CH chronograph to buy. Your watches look pretty amazing to me, congrats on your buy. Now, is the one you want to sell still available? And if yes, how much are you asking for? Thank you for your time and help. P
