For sale here this very nice Longines from the late 50ies.

Excellent zone dial in as good as mint condition, pretty rare execution.

Over-sized, unpolished, case, which measures 36,5 mm excluding the Crown.

Very good looking movement which runs strong and keep good time. Not recently serviced, though.

I´m asking USD 550 for it, shipping included, registered mail, insured, with the Swedish post. Wire payment prefered, but will accept PayPal too (especially from outside the EU). I and the watch are located within the EU.

If I didn't have a 12.68Z already I'd be all over this. Guys, somebody here NEEDS to buy this.

I must remain focused, where have I heard that word focus before ? Seriously not so long ago I would have jumped at this.
As Dennis says somebody buy this piece if only to help me falling in to temptation.

I totally believe that. You're deep enough into this hobby to start getting multiple silent (and not so silent) enablers and facilitators. Wait til you start getting texts and phone calls.

AARGH! Too slow again... all these lovely watches come on sale at 2am Singapore time, and get snapped up within hours all when I'm still asleep... :( darn...

Hijak: Am I allowed to 'pre-dibs' this one before the sale is even officially complete? :whistling:

Pre-dibsing is totally legal. I've seen a few watches that were traded before the buyer even received them - he just put a new address label over the one used to send it to him and mailed it to the new owner. Now that's flipping!

Would have loved to sell this one to Respectable Member Hijak, but he was not first in line this time. This Longines will go to another Forum Gentleman located in the UK.

    Thanks all for the interest!

I'm a respectable forum member from the uk who was also mulling this one over. Maybe my subconscious bought it for me as a present in the night?
