I have for sale a manual wind Longines in a 18kt yellow gold case. An excerpt from the email from Longines follows:

The original serial number 5’336’234 identifies a wristwatch in stainless steel, fitted with a Longines manually wound mechanical movement, caliber 13.33ZZ. It was invoiced on 23.06.1936 to the company Ostersetzer, which was at that time our agent for Italy.

Finally, we confirm the name of the retailer « E. Mabuzzi Asmara” is printed on the dial.

Please note that Eritrea was part of the Kingdom of Italy at the time of sale.

Case: The 31.5 mm case is 18kt yellow gold. The case is not original to the watch.

Crystal: The crystal is not original and has some lines within it at the 2 o'clock position.

Movement: Runs and keeps time for at least 24 hours when fully wound. Service history is unknown. The movement is a 13.33zz.

Dial and Hands: The dial is original and in fair to good condition. It has a silver track. The dial has some light patina as can be seen on the pictures.

Crown: The crown is not original.

Price: 1400 USD (or reasonable offer) including shipping to the Continental US with FedEx (or USPS registered). The watch is in Los Angeles. Given the rarity I don't have a good idea of how to price this. If you are interested please do message me and we can work out a price.

    Reduced. 1400 USD.

Feel free to make any offers.

Here are some better pictures - although they don't show the blued hands very well.
