Longine Woman's King Hussein Watch

Hello,

Attached are pictures of a watch my wife received personally from King Hussein of Jordan. Her Aunt was Queen Nor's personal aide. They visited Jordan in 1982 as special guests and she and her sister each received one.

The serial number on the front is 817 swiss 4387 and the back says stainless steel with a number 18960150 or possibly 18960450

Could you help us determine value?

Since the back is stainless, it's most likely a gold plated case and not solid gold. It's also probably a battery powered quartz watch which doesn't help much, but if it's a mechanical movement inside that's a small plus. Value depends on how much somebody wants it, and that's going to vary - someone in Jordan might like it, but it doesn't have a very large market in some other countries.
