London Watch Tour --Part II --
Austin Kaye, on the Strand, a short walk from Trafalgar Square.

I am placing this in Part II for no good reason, other then I did not want to put it with the museums, and it is away from other areas previously mentioned.
Here is a quote from their web page,
"Austin Kaye, the Family Jewellers, have been established in the Strand, London since 1946 and are now recognised as one of the leading dealers in the UK of preowned watches. We sell a wide selection of high quality, genuine secondhand watches including Rolex, Omega, Breitling, Tag Heuer, Jaeger, IWC and Cartier. You can buy all of these brands online, including vintage watches such as
    Rolex Vintage and Omega Vintage."

Austin Kaye is more affordable then many other shops, however, they too have a good number to refinished dials and over-polished cases.

That is a pretty seriously impressive range of pieces, once again the key to this is that the intended market are people that want to pay for a fully serviced, warranty covered watch that looks great on the wrist and is a high quality alternative to a modern watch at the same price, and for that purpose, a polished, shiny, mint looking vintage Omega really is what customers are after.
