Anyone going to the show later this month? Haven’t been before so wondering what to expect. Is it worth going or is it full of watch wankers?

watch wankers?

Not sure what that means on this side of the pond, but I like it, and will use it. Probably incorrectly, but nonetheless…

I mean it’s probably better than being a wank watcher, which is often frowned upon unless you have been given permission.

I heard there's plenty of modern bling, Rolex, Patek, A.P etc

.. And lots of youngsters with Louis Vuitton rucksacks and whitened teeth saying 'bruv' and 'innit'

Filled with these sort of characters if the social media posts from the last one are anything to go by:

If you were wondering why no one can buy a Rolex at retail, it's because they're all at this show with these dickheads.

A proper watch wanker has no need for any artificial watch winding mechanism.

Brah, I just spat our Vitamin water thru my Crest strips reading this. Gonna wipe it off my LV rucksacks now.

Why pay £40 for a ticket when you can walk into the best watch shops in the world for free?

(I've never been to this one tbh, so I don't really know. But I did hear that there were some fights/scuffles at the last one, so maybe it is a different kind of show?)

Looking forward to hearing about it.

Brilliant Synopsis. Fights/scuffles suddenly bring it into the realm of FOMO aka MUST DO.

Well... if you want a "new" Rolex me old mucker, this where they all are.

Also, 1000000000+ instagram cool points for posing next to the "celebrity" dealers that are "famous" for being on YouTube. ::facepalm1::

Archie luxury is heading over. From all of us here in Australia, we humbly thank you for jumping on that grenade. A little time without him will do us all a world of good.

cheers from across the pond.
