I was out shooting one sunday morning a while back and saw a Peregrine take a woodpigeon out of the sky. Shit, do they move fast.
They are not always moving - a lot of watching and waiting … but then the speed is amazing. I just took a screen shot of the talons just now - they way outgun the prey in every way - awesome bird.
