Had a new strap fitted some 40 years ago, after a few weeks the watch fell out and left the strap and ring still on my wrist, it has been in the drawer ever since, I occasionally give it a shake to get it going, it runs smoothly, I have checked tbe thread on the watch, it seems ok, so I reckon the ring must have been damaged when the stap was fitted, have you any idea where I might obtain a ring with a good thread, thanks, Trevor.
