For those that thought they might get a cheap speedmaster this morning... neither of these had a DON bezel, there were no more than these front on pictures... and yet the prices were still pretty healthy.

Lot 301 was a phone bidder, and 302 was sold via internet - add 25% commission for final sale values.

Lot 301: "Gents stainless steel cased Omega Speedmaster Pre Moon wristwatch, the black chronograph dial with luminous batons, Circa 1965, No ST105003-65. on its original bracelet. Watch working at time of cataloging"

Lot 302: "Gents stainless steel cased Omega Speedmaster Professional Pre Moon wristwatch, the black chronograph dial with luminous batons, Circa 1967, No 145.012-67SP, on its original bracelet. Watch working at time of cataloging"

From what I can see, this is a 1171. So definitely not the original bracelet.

I have worked in an auction house for half a year. But there is nothing I hate more then lying descriptions. This is written by people who don't have a clue wether it is original but they know it sounds fancy and will inspire unknowing people to bid more than what it's worth.

In my experience this house combines lack of knowledge, with being unhelpful...
