Rolex has done an interesting marketing and service approach. They pulled all their products from independent dealers. Their next move was to concentrate on establishing three boutiques. All three are located on the Las Vegas strip within several blocks of each other. I had to take my recent acquisition of a 1990 Oyster Quartz into the Rolex shop located in Wynn's resort, casino. The counter sales lady was knowledgeable. They have on premises a Rolex trained watchmaker. Should he encounter a situation beyond equipment then the watch goes to RWSC Dallas. I was advised time was 4-6 weeks. Which is fine as I know that when the watch comes back it will be virtually like new.

Nice, kind of like the stock repurchase programs established by big corporations to buoy their share prices

If you know anything about Las Vegas, there aren't a whole lot of high-end jewelers that aren't on the Strip anyway. Not a surprise.

We have two Rolex boutiques in Miami. One is located inside a Mayors, which has been a top jeweler here for decades (now part of Birks). The other is in the Design District, near a bunch of other similar boutiques. I don't know if that one is company owned or not.

Omega is doing more or less the same repair program in many boutiques. Good for minor repairs like crowns, crystals and bracelets. Anything more goes either to Secaucus or Bienne.
