Local Boutique Closed Permanently - Am I Still on “The List”?

Hello all.

My local OB closed. I have been on the list for a 321 from the beginning and have been told many times that I’m right near the top.

Do I now have to start over? Any advice?

I would advise calling the next closest boutique that is open.

My guess is that the list is gone. Your only hope might be if your salesperson is still employed by Watches of Switzerland, who runs the boutiques (at least in the US).

Was there any money put down? If not the list is probably void.

I was #1 on a list for a Snoopy with an AD in the UK who decided to no longer remain an Omega AD a year after taking a small deposit which was refunded.

I emailed Omega and within a couple of weeks received a response and I'm placed on a list with another AD although I'm still waiting for the call, as I believe are the others with the AD (a small number of named customers).

I don't know if it's any help but it could be worth reaching out directly to Omega under the circumstances?

WoS runs a couple of omega boutiques in the US but definitely not all of them. Most of them are owned by Omega (in the US) I think.

But I also think that list is gone unfortunately. You can join the list of another OB and let them know what happened. If you have a lot of spending with Omega directly, then I think all boutiques should be able to see that and they may put you higher up on their own list. Just my guesses though. Either way, worth a shot.
