I never report on an auction until it’s finished. This one was local to me.

Check out Miller and Miller in New Hamburg (Ontario, Canada).

https://www.millerandmillerauctions.com/

Lots of « professionally restored dials », relumed hands and a 1016 serviced multiple times by Rolex.

And when you check out my photos, consider the price is in Canadian dollars. Add the buyer’s premium and top that up with 13% tax.

For your enjoyment. Photos of a few that I selected.

I was not a buyer or a seller.

I am guessing a lot of disappointment for the people who put up the lots.....

(regardless of authenticity.....most did not come close to what the "experts" were guessing for payout)

166.027 is a complete fake.

Interesting… one - this one I think - was listed as having a new bezel. Does look mismatched.

Late entry. I checked the listing and it says « Reproduction bezel ».

Here is a movement shot.

Makes for some good discussions. Interested on @hansaboy ´s perspective on lot 100.

The only real thing is the movement.

The Ranchero hour/minutes hands are not original. That's a big fault. Without better photos I'm not sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if the markers are relumed also.
