Selling a "like new" Baltic Bi-Compax with Black Dial / Silver hands full set. This was purchased new a few weeks ago. . it has been worn maybe 3 times but condition is perfect. I did take the bracelet on/off twice so that is why I am not listing it as new. I am including a full / unworn BOR bracelet and the black baltic strap it came on.

Long story short. . I bought 3 baltics -- a gilt dial bi-compax, and an acquascaphe, and this one. I am selling this one to keep the 2 others, as I find the black dial is too close to my Rado 1957 Golden Horse LE from an appearance standpoint.

The BOR bracelet is not the one in the pictures and was purchased separately for the acquascaphe. It is unworn.

I believe if you ordered this combination from Baltic it would be $688 for the watch + bracelet and $60 for the strap = 748

I am asking $550 OBO via paypal friends and family, and I will throw in free next day shipping in CONUS or my actual shipping cost if outside the US

I could probably still return this to Baltic under the guarantee, but I like supporting independent brands and I really love these guys watches

I have perfect feedback in OF as a seller as well as ebay under 2010madone

Apologies for the not perfect pictures, but I'm guessing if you're interested you know what this is / the condition literally is as new except that i put on and took off the BOR bracelet once

Thx OF for the space

I think this is permanently withdrawn.. It's the Rado 1957 golden horse that will go

Word to the wise, when you decide to sell a watch, DO NOT put it back on your wrist and admire it....be committed to the purge or you will find yourself digging through your purge box over and over.

Purge box. Good idea.
I have a box I keep in my home office in which I put watches I plan to give away or sell. My watch drawer is set up for 40 watches which forces me to purge some out when new ones come in. It forces some very tough choices. They go into the purge box and stay there for a few months and if I miss the watch I know where it is....eventually those will have to be dealt with. The dresser does have 2 top drawers though- have thought about making the second drawer another watch drawer to hold another 40....but then my whole system would go out the window.

I just couldn't part with this

I listed the extra bor bracelet on ebay and will list the Rado in the sales forum over the weekend

Well, since this is a non-issue now, why did you even contemplate selling it? It's a fantastic watch, and there is nothing else new or vintage like it-so it's not like having an homage or re-issue and finding a "real one".

Because I have the gilt / gold variation as well and this felt duplicative of the Rado... But it's just better than the Rado imo

This is the worst sales thread ever and yet tells me more about my own collecting mania than I can ever dare admit. Good luck with the no sale. To all of us, forever....
