Excellent selection of pieces! Curious about the Seamaster Chronos with the red seconds hand...cal 321 or 861? and what model number? and who is the lucky owner? They are very sharp looking!
OMG! Aren’t you guys nervous carrying around in public all those watches worth thousands of ($, €, £, ¥)?!? I would be wound tighter than a violin string! Seeing you guys out there reminds me of the Jewelers Building in Chicago! Guys with that much merchandise on them could drive their Studebaker off the street into a special elevator that would whisk them right up to their high-rise jewelry store - no need to risk a walk there! Beautiful collections, by the way!
Thanks all... About those Seamaster chronos, they are ref 145.006 (black subdials, cal 321) and 145.016 (white subdials, cal 861); and they’re mine. They date from 1966 & 1968.
Some great pieces displayed. Looks like you guys had a good time. Thanks for sharing & it's always nice to put a face to the names we see here.
Some of you may have noticed that this GTG occurred in a bookstore! Hyde Park (Chicago) has quite a few...
Beautiful, all of them... ..and what a great idea doing the GTG in a bookstore, where the light must be well, and there are no wandering eyes! Drinks can always be had afterwards, if wanted!
Thank you sir. I now have a new vintage grail to search for...will be a nice companion for this little Certina which came my way last month:
