·Over the holidays I was gifted with this pretty special watch. Its a limited edition SKX celebrating the act of Congress (RA 9500) that strengthened the charter of my alma mater (University of the Philippines)
From a distance, it looks like a Seiko divers with a dark maroon dial, uncommon in itself. But close up you'll start to see figures emerge. Zoomed close enough it becomes clear that its a mural of students and school alumni.
The quality of this dial is surprising, given the Seiko price point. It looks to me like a glossy maroon dial, painted glossy black, with the figures stenciled or etched out. It's very clearly not printed on
