·Limited Edition Omega Seamaster 1948 Olympic Collection London 2012 Co-Axial Chronometer Watch.

As you can see from the photographs the condition of this magnificent timepiece is as close to brand new as you will find.
This watch is generally accepted as being the most beautifully understated classic style available from Omega, with a limited production run of only 1948 pieces.
Simply a stunning piece of engineering and a must have for the discriminating collector.
The watch features diamond-polished hour and minute hands and a blue steel small seconds hand.
While the watch's stunning exterior recalls its legendary ancestor, a different story is told inside the case: the Seamaster 1948 is powered by the exclusive OMEGA Caliber 2202, an officially-certified chronometer equipped with a Co-Axial escapement on three-levels and free sprung-balance.
The special limited-edition Seamaster is presented on a high quality black leather strap with a vintage style polished stainless steel buckle.
The stainless steel case has a powerful, yet stylish presence on the wrist at 39mm diameter, excluding the crown and 43mm inclusive of crown.
The lug to lug measurement is 49mm with a thickness of approximately 11mm
The dial is Opaline silver with 18k white gold raised Arabic Numerals and markers and a seconds sub-dial at the 6 position, featuring a blued steel hand that reflects beautifully in different lighting situations.
The dial is finished with the raised classic vintage style Omega logo.
The case back is a classic symbol of stealth wealth with the 18k yellow gold medallion embossed with the London 2012 Olympic Games logo insert.
The scratch resistant sapphire crystal deserves a special mention as, whilst being slightly domed, you will notice that it does not show reflections at all. In fact it looks a s though there is no crystal present, which is the most effective achievement in this respect that I have ever seen.
Whilst my photographs show a good representation of the watch I would say that in the metal the watch has a stunning presence that simply looks gorgeous, especially when worn on the wrist.
The watch comes complete with everything you would receive if purchased brand new and will include:
Outer and Inner Boxes, Omega Limited Series Card and separate Limited Edition Certificate, International Warranty Card, Chronometer Certificate and Pictograms Card along with the Operating Instructions Book
The watch will be posted Special Delivery to UK and Europe only - Sorry, but I cannot send the watch internationally as it can only be insured for £500 and it's not worth the risk of sending it uninsured.
