Today, I decided to give a few 'box queens' some exercise.

So I 'double-dogged', (or, @Mad Dog -ed ) my circa-1950 caliber 22's from the hammock:



First produced in 1945, these cal. 22's were the very first automatic movements by Longines.

Very very nice. I don't just like gold. I love gold and platinum and palladium. . Here is my one and only for now Longines in 18k

They might be the most gorgeous dials of the 40's.
