Would the OP make a list of "beefy, jumbo Seamaster" case references so that we can identify and collect them easier. Thanks a lot.

What exactly constitutes “jumbo” or “beefy lugs” ? Just asking.

I couldn’t find a thread dedicated to these and feel they warrant it. I’m referring to the ~36.5mm beefy lug case references (larger than the normal 34.5mm ones).

Edit: An incomplete list of references (please call out if I’m missing any):
Bumpers: 2765, 2764, 2771, 2657, 2494, 2519, 2521, 2493
50* calibers: 2992, 2854, 2920, 2856, 2857
55* calibers: 166.011, 165.011

"Jumbo" is subjective:

It's an ongoing debate, but I lean towards defining that if a watch is a bigger version than the most common model, then it is a Jumbo. A Speedmaster isn't a jumbo, even though it is 42mm, but a 36.5mm ref. 2494 or 2657 which is 2mm larger than the ref. 2757/2576 would constitute one.

Dunno if this is jumbo but the lugs are VERY beefy (Dennison case) and it's a cal. 501, so . . . .

Agreed. I think my subjective list aligns with this “relative (within case design) size” approach.

Looks like a regular size 2846 to me. Beefy, yes. Jumbo, no.

Adding this pair to the gang:

Both 2856-2857s - my little yin & yang pair. The white one will need a new second hand as the one that’s installed is missing the tip or belongs to a smaller ref, unfortunately. Still, it arrived today and I’m too excited to not share. 😀

I’m not using filters much, usually, but this pair almost asks for a black-and-white manipulation:

A huge thanks to @ConElPueblo for the black and to @seekingseaquest for his help with the white example!

Nice pair of bracelets, too 😉

I might be procrastinating on something right now. 😗 Have I summarized things correctly?

every thread should have this on the first post
