The Model 64 does not accept 357 rounds, they won't seat in the chamber. That is because it is a .38 caliber weapon made to do what it's supposed to, fire .38s. Since the SP101 does both, it's safe to say that it is not as well made as the S&W. The former is engineered to do more whilst eschewing the engineering perfection that the latter brings to the table. That said, the 64 could easily handle the firing of a 357 round. In fact, the model 65 does just that, same frame, bored to accept 357, just like a well-engineered tool should be. Comparing the 1911 to the 92x is apples and oranges. The former was made for stopping power, the latter for firepower. Sure, the Beretta feels better, but the 1911 is a beast. And some versions of the 1911 feel great in the hand as well, specifically the Kimber.

Say what? Only 1x465? I saw @ChuckMK23 doing 15x475 on the incline bench just a few days ago! Speaking of @ChuckMK23...pictured below is his modern Speedy Gonzales Moonwatch with my Cincinnati Police duty firearm (S&W 5946 9mm) and badge...both of which I purchased when I resigned from the Cincinnati Police Department in 2006. Chuck allows me to keep my firearms in his gun safe since I don’t have a gun safe...and we often have meddling teenagers loitering in and around our house which makes the wife unit (MacGyverette), as well as myself, nervous...
Need to step up my butch photography with my watches well here’s one with an old motorcycle leathers. My bike is old though (not very fast by modern standards).
