Additionally, if anybody could referred me to what would be the correct crown for the watch. Mine is surely not the original of the watch, though with logo, it is silver. I reckon a golden one should have been the original crown.

Did some Google research, and I see you can buy some on eBay but they are several size. So would appreciate if any of the Gurus would have a recommendation.

Thanks in advance.

Here's my Garnix (2303) sporting a white/ivory dial.

I was after a Valjoux 72 as I have an interest in 60s chronographs, but since they had a significant price hike following popularity, and I am a frugal sort, I had given up hope of finding something of interest.

A seller in Japan I had got to know sent me this and I went into 'research overdrive' for a day - 37mm case, paddle hands, Enicar on the dial, absolutely stunning condition - what more could I ask for? It took a good while to arrive and I've since had it serviced, but it gets a lot of time on my wrist: great size and so many intricate details.

I was interested to see the black dialed variant advertised for >Sherpa money, as usually these are seen as a lesser version to the great 'Graphs', bringing to mind the formal Seamaster 321 chronos vs the early Speedmasters.

Interesting comparison. That is a beautiful dial. Enjoy that one.

First of all....super lovely watch. I didn't get used to the 36/37mm case yet, but yours is a stunning and well preserved example. Its also an early one with paddle hands, most of the ones on the market have baton hands. The white dial is very cool!

Regarding the black dial ones I guess you are referring to the Hodinkee Shop one? I think there is a reason this is the only watch that wasnt sold last week. The price was a bit to optimistic and in Graph territory 馃槈

Hey all. I am just getting into this watch collecting thing and have this Enicar left to me by grandfather. Would love to know more about this brand and this watch in particular. It does run, btw. Need to get it on a band, too.
TIA

Ok... This is my second Enicar, and my first C-shape watch ever. And I'm falling in love with both! Well, I really already like my first Enicar (Ocean Pearl), both are nothing fancy compared to some of the Super Dive here, but they are my introduction to this great brand. Hopefully, my "Racine" will grow into a beautiful plant 馃榾

So, here is the newcomer, a Sherpa Date 600 cal AR 161. Obviously, photos magnify some of the imperfections that are not that visible when wearing the watch.

And an evening shot
