I just pulled the trigger on a 2264.50. Something about its simplicity, thinness, reliability (quartz movement) attracted me to it. Not to mention it's killer lume. It arrives in three days!

Was curious if there are others out there who enjoy the Omega quartz style!

Let's see 'em!

Speedmaster X-33 (first gen)

It needs service beyond my capabilities so I welcome a recommendation.

Sending it to Omega would likely be the best option.

It’s been a while since I sent something in. Last was my PO a few years ago. I was looking on the web site but wasn’t sure if I can just send it to a service center info have to go through and AD?

I would send it in directly, which has the advantage of cutting out the middleman (AD), leaving you with direct communication for updates and so on.

I can enjoy any quartz watch, but, to me, the technology seems especially well-suited for dress watches and their thin cases, and for beater/daily watches that you can just pick up and go without worrying about setting.

I’ll play. These are the watches I wore in the mid to late 80s, leading up to buying my first Speedmaster and Daytona. Great watches. All still running.
