I just saw your post in the WRUW thread and thought I recognized the name. Welcome to the forum. I guess this is where we all end up when the "Which Watch" thread at AW doesn't get much action. Fantastic Speedmaster you have there. Truly one of the most magnificent watches ever. I look forward to following your adventures. I'm hoping it won't be long until we see a "Anyone use their old watch stuff to do other stuff now?" thread. Cheers

Thanks...I was going to hold off on the AW group buy...and then the wife and children units gave me a new Speedy Gonzales for my 51st b-day...definitely not complaining since it's my "Holy Grail" watch. Haven't flown with it at work yet...probably will do so on 02MAY15 when I go on call. I'll tell you...the first landing I do wearing the Speedy Gonzales HAS GOT TO BE A GOOD ONE. No pressure!

Sure "Mad Dog' lives up to his moniker, but, no matter how you look, or judge him, .he is, (as you stated) one of the men (and/or) women behind watches thread... And comparably, quite an interesting member at that..
To be honest, I've quite enjoyed this glimpse into this (?) x navy pilots new life, and more so, his enthusism for his recently gifted grail, his Omega Speedmaster. We don't do Donuts where I live, so I'll pass on commenting..
